Description:
Gensler was retained to redesign a large mixed use project outside of Doha. This component of the project was to design the private courtyard spaces created between six large residential apartment towers. Conceptually it was inspired by the traditional four quadrants historically found in Islamic gardens but had to appeal to contemporary tastes of an upwardly mobile population.
